The ministries of culture and education have announced the launch of the third edition of the Cultural Skills Competition, a national initiative designed to discover and nurture cultural talents among general education students.

The competition aims to develop students' skills in cultural and artistic fields, enabling them to channel their passions and creativity into enriching the Kingdom's cultural and artistic sectors.

This year's competition includes nine main tracks: theater, digital art, filmmaking, photography, handicrafts, short stories, manga, singing, and instrumental performance.

Participants will progress through eight stages: registration, creative competitions, initial sorting and judging, a virtual educational administration ceremony, personal interviews, a talent development training camp, final judging, and an awards ceremony to honor the winners.

Building on the success of its two previous editions, the competition reaffirms the Ministry of Culture's dedication to identifying and cultivating student talents across the Kingdom.

It also seeks to preserve Saudi cultural heritage by raising awareness of its historical and civilizational significance.

Through this initiative, students are encouraged to invest their energies in cultural and artistic pursuits, with the ultimate goal of equipping them with the tools and skills necessary to elevate the quality of their cultural production.
