The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a project to distribute 100 tons of dates in the Federal Republic of Brazil and neighboring South American countries in collaboration with the Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil (FAMBRAS). Attending the inauguration were the Saudi Ambassador to Brazil, Faisal Ghulam, and other officials.

The ambassador highlighted that the gift is a representation of the ongoing support offered by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support nations and individuals globally by offering various types of humanitarian assistance.

The ambassador commended the important role played by KSrelief, emphasizing the strong bond of friendship between Saudi Arabia and Brazil.

Under the project, 100 tons of dates will be distributed to the neediest groups in 20 Brazilian states, as well as 12 other countries in South and Central America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Guyana, El Salvador, and Guatemala.

The aid is part of the relief projects by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to provide food support to needy communities worldwide.
