KSrelief Conducts Specialized Gypsum Industry Training Course in Aden
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) conducted a specialized gypsum industry training course in Aden Governorate on Friday, as part of a project aimed at providing sustainable livelihoods for the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen.
The training course, held in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund, benefited 42,960 women in the governorates of Shabwa, Lahij, Al-Mahrah, Marib, and Hadramout.
During the 10-day course, participants were introduced to the art of gypsum craftsmanship, the essential tools used, and the practical steps in producing artefacts and decorative items.
Additionally, they explored the creation of creative artistic paintings.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the KSrelief, to enhance the living and economic conditions of women in need in Yemen.
