In 1990, Saudi-American cooperation resulted in the establishment of an international coalition that ended Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. In 2015, the United States of America provided its intelligence and logistical support to Operation Decisive Storm in Yemen.
Also, former US President Donald Trump arrived in the Kingdom in 2017, when it was his first foreign stop. The visit of the current US President Joe Biden to the Kingdom comes to start a new era in Saudi-US relations.
