Border Guard in Jazan arrests 13 Ethiopians for smuggling 260 kg of khat

Land patrols of the Border Guard in the Al-Daer sector of Jazan region have arrested 13 Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations and attempting to smuggle 260 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures were completed, and both the detainees and the seized contraband were handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at (Email:[email protected]). All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
