All pilgrims in good health, says MoH as Hajj season nears end

The participants in the 21st Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Research recommended expanding the digital transformation governance in the Hajj, Umrah, and Visit system, expanding procedures and services, designing electronic platforms and applications in awareness and guidance, to contribute to developing areas for employing digital transformation to better serve the pilgrims, and enrich the pilgrim and the visitor’s experience journey of faith.

The participants valued the Kingdom’s constant and unlimited support for all scientific and research activities hosted by universities and research institutes in general, and the activities of the annual forum organized by the various universities and institutes and the activities of the annual forum which is organized alternately between Makkah and Madinah in particular, especially its focus on research and consultations that are concerned with developing services provided to the visitors and the pilgrims.

Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al Qura University Dr. Turki bin Suleiman Al-Amr said the recommendations committee of the scientific forum organized by the Institute over the past two days at the King Salman International Conference Center in Madinah announced 30 scientific recommendations, which will be submitted to the Supreme Hajj Committee, focusing on the importance of expanding the use of modern technologies in developing decision-making processes.
