Since the beginning of the arrival of pilgrims to perform this year's Hajj, the Prophet's Mosque has received over a million pilgrims amid a complete atmosphere of peace and security, thanks to the efforts and integrated services provided by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.

The authority has maximized its services by disinfecting the Prophet’s Mosque and its facilities more than five times a day, perfuming the Holy Site's carpets with the finest types of roses and luxurious incense, and preparing all the prayer halls inside the mosque, its courtyards, and its roof with more than 18,000 carpets.

In terms of transportation and facilitating the movement of crowds, the authority has provided transportation services for pilgrims in the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque and its surrounding areas via golf carts. It has also provided wheelchair services for the elderly and people with disabilities and allocated 10 prayer sites for them close to the gates of the Holy Site.
