Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZTCA) has successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle around 15 million Captagon drugs through Jeddah Islamic Port.

According to ZTCA, as much as 14,976,000 of Captagon tablets were found hidden in a commercial consignment coming from abroad via the port.

The report said that the smuggled quantity was found professionally hidden in a machine designed to manufacutre concrete blocs.

Accordingly, the authority notified the security authorities who, after strictly tracing the address of the single beneficiary, has apprehended him.
