Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, said that launching a new visual identity for Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) is solidly founded on its great history to proceed toward a promising future.

Al-Jasser told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) during the launch ceremony of the visual identity of SAUDIA, which was held on Saturday at the airline’s headquarters: “It's a pleasure to witness a new era in SAUDIA’s history through launching its new visual identity. This prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, has seen various programs and strategies, including the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, from which six strategies emerged, one of which is the Aviation Sector Strategy, which will transform the Kingdom into a global air transport hub.”

He indicated that this would be accomplished through two main aviation hubs, one of which is King Abdulaziz International Airport, with all the planned major transformations and expansions inside it. He added that SAUDIA, with its new structure, unique appearance, extra services, exclusive technical solutions, and having applied artificial intelligence as the first company in the region, will compete globally in this sector to provide a distinctive traveller experience.

Al-Jasser also emphasized that the rapid advancements in the aviation sector, including the establishment of Riyadh Air, the national carrier connecting the capital to countries worldwide, will bolster the success of various other strategies and projects. These, he said, encompass Hajj, Umrah, tourism, entertainment, sports, and improvements in quality of life, all of which play pivotal roles in the ongoing national transformations within the Kingdom, supported wholeheartedly by the wise leadership.

He pointed out that the new SAUDIA identity featured the Saudi culture, as the Kingdom enjoys an ancient and stunning heritage, while SAUDIA also has a long history that inspires its identity and added services.

Al-Jasser added that there is integration between SAUDIA, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services to develop these services in a way that represents the Saudi national identity and makes Saudi airlines unique.
