Saudi Arabia Performs 580 Eye Surgeries to Combat Blindness in Sudan

Saudi Arabia's volunteer medical team of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has examined 10,770 beneficiaries in the Republic of Sudan, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The volunteer medical team performed 580 eye surgeries and distributed 2,450 glasses in the Republic of Sudan since the launch of its campaign to combat blindness and its causes on December 20, 2021.

This comes as a part of the qualitative voluntary medical campaigns being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented KSrelief, with the aim of providing treatment to families and individuals with limited income, who can't afford treatment costs, in different countries.
