Saudi Arabia Participates in Arab Committee for Human Rights

The 47th session of the permanent Arab committee for humanrights began here today with the participation of representatives of theconcerned authorities in member states, the Arab parliament, national humanrights institutions and civil society organizations with observer status.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation was headed by the Director General of the Department of International Relations and Organizations of the Human Rights Commission Amal Yahya Al-Mouallimi.

The three-day session will discuss topics including Israeli violations and racist practices in occupied Arab territories and a report on Arab prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons.
