WHO Says Still Unable to Deliver Fuel, Essential Health Supplies to Northern Gaza Hospitals
The World Health Organization (WHO) said it is still unable to distribute fuel as well as essential health supplies to major hospitals in northern Gaza due to a lack of security guarantees.
The UN health agency warned that thousands of vulnerable patients will face increased risk of death or medical complications unless vital fuel and additional health supplies are urgently sent to Gaza.
Critical services at hospitals have shut down due to lack of power, WHO reported.
WHO also called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in order to allow the safe distribution of fuel and health supplies throughout the Gaza Strip.
