The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the final communiqué of the open-ended meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Committee at the level of foreign ministers on Wednesday, which condemned Israeli aggression against Palestinian people.

The MWL said it welcomes the outcome of the meeting, held at the invitation of Saudi Arabia, chair of the current session of the Islamic Summit and the OIC Executive Committee, and Pakistan.

The meeting sought to discuss the repercussions of the ongoing humanitarian disaster taking place on the Palestinian lands before the eyes of the world.

In a statement, MWL Secretary-General Mohammad Al-Issa voiced the league's support, along with its councils, institutions, and bodies, for the condemnation of Israeli aggression that continues to inflict more tragedies, disasters, and collective punishment on innocent civilians.

Al-Issa expressed full solidarity with the Palestinian state’s government in its international and legal efforts to stop these heinous crimes, highlighting the utmost importance of securing the necessary supplies to the Palestinian people.

He warned of the dangerous ramifications of Israeli aggression, which has shaken the conscience of humanity.

He warned that this tragedy will foretell consequences that will be hard to rectify, especially when they become deeply ingrained in the hearts of people, if the international community fails to promptly take effective action.
