Ministerial Committee Assigned by Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit Meets with French Foreign Minister

The Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit, headed by the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met in Paris yesterday, with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Catherine Colonna.

The meeting was attended by members of the Ministerial Committee, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, Riad Malki; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Geoffrey Onyeama; and the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, the efforts exerted to achieve a ceasefire and protect civilians, and the importance of consolidating the truce and building on it, in addition to discussing many topics of common interest, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the Middle East and the world.
