Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Al-Yamahi strongly condemned the attack targeting the logistics support base of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) in Kadugli, Sudan, which resulted in casualties among peacekeepers, including deaths and injuries.
In a statement issued today, Al-Yamahi stressed that targeting UN forces constitutes a reprehensible crime and a flagrant violation of international law and international conventions. He expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
