The final missing person trapped in a collapsed hotel being usedas a coronavirus quarantine facility in eastern China was found dead onThursday, bringing the accident's death toll to 29, according to statemedia.  Xinjia Hotel, in theLicheng district of Quanzhou, collapsed and trapped a total of 71people, dpa reported.

Rescuers were able to save the 42 other people, according tostate broadcaster CCTV.

The seven-storey building, constructed seven years earlier,was undergoing renovations on the lower floors when the accident occurred,according to local media reports.

Local authorities said they found "seriousproblems" in the approval of the construction and renovation work at thehotel.

China on Thursday reported 15 new coronavirus cases, whichis its lowest number since the daily reporting on infections began seven weeksago and brings the number of infections above 80,700. This includes 3,169deaths.
