Crown Prince receives phone call from German Chancellor Merkel

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and ministerof defense, received a phone call from German Chancellor Angela Merkelon Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Both the leaders discussed the ongoing international effortsto combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

They also reviewed the preparations for the virtualextraordinary summit of G20 leaders convened by Saudi Arabia next week to putforward a coordinated global response to the pandemic and its economic fallout.
