Civil Affairs clarifies national ID services available on Absher

The Civil Affairs Agency at the Ministry of Interior has clarified the national ID card services available to citizens through the Absher app, enabling users to complete several procedures electronically without needing to visit Civil Affairs offices.

According to a statement on its official X account, the agency said services include renewing the national ID card and requesting replacements for lost or damaged cards, allowing citizens to complete these processes easily from anywhere.

How to access national ID services via Absher

Civil Affairs explained that citizens can benefit from these services by following these steps:

1. Log in to the Absher app.

2. Select "My Services."

3. Go to "Civil Affairs."

4. Choose "National ID Services."

5. Select the required service and complete the necessary steps.

The agency added that the app allows users to capture a photo of their national ID directly, using artificial intelligence to verify that the image meets the requirements and standards for issuing the card.
