The Official Spokesman of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the coalition forces managed on Thursday noon to intercept and shoot down a drone launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia towards civilian facilities in Khamis Mushayt.
Colonel Al-Maliki explained that the attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to launch drones are doomed to failure as the coalition is taking all operational procedures and the best means to deal with these drones in order to protect civilians and civilian facilities.
He stressedthe continuation of the command of the joint forces of the coalition toimplement deterrent measures against this terrorist militia to neutralize anddestroy such capabilities strictly, in accordance with the internationalhumanitarian law and its customary rules.
