Under Egyptian auspices, a ceasefire agreement was reached in the Gaza Strip, as of 2 a.m. on Friday (2300 GMT on Thursday).
Middle East News Agency on Thursday reported that Egypt will send two security delegations to Tel Aviv and the Palestinian areas; to follow up on implementation procedures and to agree on subsequent measures that will maintain the stability of the situation permanently.
