Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) Minister Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi approved setting up of the "Science for All Society"; the first Saudi private society of its kind.
The founder and Chairman of the Board of the society Abdulrahman Al-Sultan said that the society is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia.
It also aspires to become a pioneering reference in spreading and simplifying science and technology for the society and becoming a partner in enhancing the future of innovation and creativity.
The strategic goals of the society are in conformity with the aspirations of the Kingdom's Vision 2030; in supporting sustainable development; through the nonprofit sector and bolstering knowledge economy that is concerned with education sciences for all individuals in society.
The society will also strive to raise the level of awareness on science and technology education and their applications in the society through scientific interaction initiatives and programs that would enhance science and technology reaching all segments of society.
Apart from its Board of Directors Chairman Abdulrahman Al-Sultan other members of the Board include Ali Al-Wabil, Abdulrahman Al-Fadhil, Dr. Aws Al-Shamsan and Muhammad Bahlal.
The society also aims to spread awareness on the culture and importance of science and its applications; the culture of learning, discovering, and creativity; enhancing the ways to facilitate for science and technology to reach all segments of society, and developing scientific thinking, stimulating the practice of science and technology.
It also aims to adopt initiatives to simplify the sciences for the young generations, activating scientific interactions, extending bridges; between experts and enthusiasts by organizing scientific programs, symposia, seminars, and conferences for science and modern technologies; supporting innovation and development in the field of science, mathematics; engineering and research and studies in the field of science and technologies directed towards society.
This is also apart from encouraging community initiatives and investments in modern sciences and advanced technologies,
The "Science for All Society" is also the first Saudi private society of its kind. Its founding team comprises a number of specialists and enthusiasts in different fields of science.
The announcement of an innovative package of quality projects and scientific programs is also expected in the near future.
