Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Al-Sawaha met here on Wednesday with the Assistant Director-General for the Social and Human Sciences of the United Nations Educational; Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); Gabriela Ramos.
During the meeting; they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in many areas also related to the digital economy; most notably the ethics of artificial intelligence and bridging the digital divide; as well as cooperation in science; the Saudi Press Agency reported.
On the sidelines of the G20 digital economy ministers’ meeting; Al-Sawaha also interacted with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen. They discussed a number of issues of common interest in the digital economy and space.
