Egyptian President Starts GCC Tour to Oman, Bahrain

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi embarked on a GCC tour that includes Oman and Bahrain, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement today.

The statement added that President El-Sisi will hold talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, pertaining to bilateral relations, as well as consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues and issues of common interest, which require concerted efforts to ensure Arab national security and to counter attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries and destabilize them.
