Arab League Secretary-General Meets with New Zealand's Foreign Minister

Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit met today with New Zealand's Foreign Minister Winston Peters in Cairo. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and address regional and international issues.

Their focus was on the Palestinian situation, particularly the implementation of the Security Council resolution to stop the aggression on Gaza, provide relief to the population, and allow the entry of humanitarian aid in a sustainable and reliable manner.
