Summer festival in Turaif draws crowds with diverse events

The summer festival in Turaif, organized by Northern Border University, continues to welcome large crowds of residents and visitors in a festive atmosphere. The event aims to offer a comprehensive entertainment experience for all family members, strengthen Turaif’s position as a summer tourism and leisure destination, and foster stronger ties between the university and the local community.

Since its launch, the festival has seen enthusiastic participation from families and children. Activities include a mix of entertainment, cultural, and commercial events, with live performances, games, and programs designed for all age groups adding to the joyful ambiance.

According to the university, the festival’s activities focus on four main tracks: knowledge, handicrafts, competitions and challenges, and volunteering. The program features entertainment, cultural and social activities, various sports, stage performances, children’s events, physical games, e-sports competitions, a Baloot tournament, as well as a variety of workshops and daily prizes for festival visitors.
