Mawhiba Celebrates Students from 90 Countries in Chemistry Olympiad

King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity -- Mawhiba -- on Friday celebrated the students of the delegations participating in the 56th edition of International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2024) after they completed the competition tests, in the presence of Mawhiba Secretary General Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa and a number of the foundation’s officials.

The event, which brought together students and their supervisors, included many heritage, popular, and national events, which embodied the details of the cultural heritage of the Kingdom.

The delegations participating in the global event include 333 male and female students supervised by 260 international specialists in the field of chemistry from 90 countries.

The Kingdom's hosting of the 56th IChO reflects the excellence of Saudi students in the international arena and enhances the Kingdom's position as a leading global destination in various scientific fields.

This global event is organized by Mawhiba in a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education and King Saud University and with exclusive sponsorship from the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
