The Saudi Media Forum announced today the opening of registration for the third edition of the Media Innovation Bootcamp (Saudi MIB), one of the leading initiatives supporting media business incubators and accelerators. The bootcamp will be held as part of the Saudi Media Forum 2027, which will feature a new global identity.

Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum, stated that the Media Innovation Bootcamp has become a pioneering national platform for discovering and empowering media talent, transforming creative ideas into scalable and sustainable media projects. He noted that the third edition marks a new phase by expanding participation, strengthening strategic partnerships, and leveraging the latest artificial intelligence applications to advance the media industry.

He added that the initiative was launched by Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari and President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi during the Saudi Media Forum. Today, it continues as one of the Kingdom’s leading national initiatives dedicated to media innovation.

Tracks and programs in the third edition

The bootcamp is open to media professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and those interested in modern technologies, offering a comprehensive practical experience that combines training, mentorship, and hands-on development. The third edition features three main tracks: AI-powered journalism, smart content creation, and intelligent virtual broadcasting. These tracks enable participants to develop innovative media solutions and gain practical experience within multidisciplinary teams.

Fostering innovation and alignment with Vision 2030

The Media Innovation Bootcamp is a flagship initiative of the Saudi Media Forum, aimed at supporting media innovation, empowering national talent, and enhancing integration between media and technology in line with rapid digital transformation. It also contributes to building a creative, knowledge-based economy and reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening the innovation ecosystem, investing in modern technologies, and empowering national talent in line with Vision 2030 goals.

The third edition of the bootcamp will be held in strategic partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and is expected to attract participants and experts from both inside and outside the Kingdom, supporting knowledge exchange, partnership building, and the launch of innovative media projects that will help shape the future of the industry.
