Khashar Peak in Al-Dayer offers blend of nature, agriculture and heritage

Khashar Peak in Al-Dayer governorate, Jazan region, stands out as a prominent tourist destination, combining mountainous landscapes, terraced agriculture, and heritage sites that highlight the area's natural and cultural diversity.

Khashar is located about eight kilometers from Al-Dayer center, connected by a mountain road that offers a variety of views along its route, from slopes and farms to highland villages. The road’s twists and scenic overlooks are an integral part of the visitor experience.

Raida Peak is the highest point in Khashar, rising approximately 1,660 meters above sea level and overlooking the Al-Qateel, Al-Salma, Talan, and Habs mountains. Homes are scattered across the mountain tops and slopes, with farms terraced below. Mountain roads link the villages and farms, allowing visitors to take in the expansive mountain views and capture photos, especially when clouds and mist gather around the peaks.

Agricultural terraces and local crops
