King Faisal University launches AI training programs in Al-Ahsa

King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa, in partnership with a local institution, launched an artificial intelligence bootcamp yesterday, attended by academic leaders, specialists, and those interested in research and technology.

The bootcamp features training programs that include scientific lectures, practical workshops, and interactive sessions led by a group of experts and specialists. The aim is to develop participants' skills in using AI tools, foster innovative thinking, and enable them to create technological solutions to address development challenges.

The initiative seeks to enhance national skills in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, equipping participants with practical knowledge and experience in the latest AI advancements.

Adel Al-Shuaibi, supervisor of the university's research centers, explained that the bootcamp is part of the university's efforts to strengthen research and innovation, and to build national capabilities in advanced technologies through specialized training programs that combine scientific and practical aspects.

He added that the program focuses on AI applications, data analysis, machine learning, prompt engineering, and language models, helping prepare national talent to apply these technologies in scientific research, innovation, and development.

The bootcamp supports initiatives aimed at developing human capital, promoting a culture of innovation, and preparing qualified national professionals to keep pace with digital transformation and future technologies.
