Saudi TV airs AI-powered documentary on Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman

Al Ekhbariya, the Saudi news channel, aired a documentary tonight chronicling the life of Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman. The film is a pioneering effort that utilizes artificial intelligence for visual processing and the recreation of historical scenes.

The documentary highlights Princess Noura's social contributions and her prominent role during the founding era of modern Saudi Arabia, presenting her national story through a visual approach that blends documentation with advanced technology.

The film was produced entirely by a Saudi team, led by producer Mansour Al-Talhah, based on an idea by Fatimah Ghazwani. The screenplay was co-written by Riyadh Al-Majed and Fatimah Ghazwani, with direction by Riyadh Al-Majed, AI technology and editing by Nasser Al-Suwaid, and narration by Haya Al-Drees.
