Dammam Society for Culture and Arts launches creative events in August

The Dammam Society for Culture and Arts is organizing a series of events, training workshops, and art exhibitions throughout August, aiming to enrich the creative scene in the Eastern Province and provide inspiring spaces for artists and enthusiasts to connect.

The program features lectures and meetings on topics such as "How to Make Time," "Public Speaking and Oratory," and "Voiceover Techniques," along with a philosophical discussion on "Human Relationships" and a session on "Identity in the Age of Trends."

Additionally, the society is offering critical sessions focused on cinema, with dedicated film screenings followed by in-depth discussions, giving attendees the chance to analyze and debate cinematic works.

Exhibitions and workshops to promote visual arts

The events include an exhibition titled "Memory Formation," as well as the sixth edition of the "Rawazen" small works exhibition, which encourages art collecting. Other highlights are a painting workshop called "Garden of Colors" and live drawing sessions that demonstrate the importance of proportion in artworks.

There will also be a workshop on "Principles of Architectural Photography," focusing on the aesthetics of architecture and offering participants a deeper understanding of artistic approaches to photographing buildings.
