King Salman bin Abdulaziz carried out a telephone call with US President Donald Trump on Monday.
Discussions focused on the work of the G20, whose 2020 presidency chaired by Saudi Arabia. They tackled the various policies approved to ease the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic on people; throughout the world, as well as the global economy.
King Salman stressed to Trump that Saudi Arabia, as G20 president, will also continue to support the group’s efforts to confront the human and economic impact of the pandemic.
On regional developments, he also expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation to the efforts exerted by the United States in achieving peace. He underlined Saudi Arabia’s keenness on reaching a permanent and just solution to the Palestinian cause; which will pave the way for peace.
