King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent on Sunday a written message on bilateral relations to Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa.
The letter also tackled King Hamad’s proposal to host a regular annual consultative meeting for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The Bahraini royal received the letter by Saudi Ambassador to Manama, Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz.
The envoy also relayed to King Hamad the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
For his part, King Hamad expressed his pride with the close fraternal relations between the Saudi and Bahraini leaderships; “which are growing stronger amid the keenness to develop them,” reported Bahrain’s news agency (BNA).
He also hailed the significant role played by Saudi Arabia in protecting the security and stability of the region; praising King Salman’s ambitious vision, wise positions that back development, and his championing of peace and justice.
