King Salman Sends a Message to Egyptian President

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman binAbdulaziz Al Saud has sent a message to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of theArab Republic of Egypt.

The message was delivered by Minister of State and Cabinet'sMember Dr. Essam bin Saeed during his meeting with the Egyptian President todayin Cairo.

The Official Spokesman of Egyptian Presidency AmbassadorBassam Radi said in a statement that the message included confirming the depthof historical relations that bring together the two countries and peoples, theKingdom's keenness on enhancing strategic cooperation between the two countriesat various levels, and continuing the process of joint work and intensivecoordination with Egypt on various regional and international issues.

Ambassador Radi said that the Egyptian President asked toconvey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Presidentalso emphasized the special and fraternal nature of the Egyptian-Saudirelations, as they represent a pillar of the stability of the region,especially in light of the delicate situation that the Arab countries are goingthrough and the various challenges they face.

President el-Sisi expressed his country's aspiration tocontinue developing and investing constructive cooperation and consultationbetween the two countries in various fields in order to achieve commoninterests of the two peoples and supporting the bonds of Arab solidarity.
