King Salman Orders $493Mn in ‘Ramadan Aid’ for Social Security Beneficiaries

King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered on Monday the distribution of "Ramadan Aid" worth 1.85 billion riyals ($492.6 million). This is for social security beneficiaries, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Providers of families will also get 1,000 riyals each. While family members will get 500 riyals each.

The generous gesture reflects King Salman's keenness on ensuring that the people live a dignified life, said SPA.
