King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud on Tuesday discussed with Pakistaniprime minister, Imran Khan the latest regional and international developmentsand efforts exerted towards achieving these developments.
This came during a meeting between King Salman and Imran Khan,where they reviewed the close relations between the two brotherly countries andprospects of bilateral cooperation, according to (SPA).
Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan arrived this evening in theSaudi capital of Riyadh.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced that Khan was visitingSaudi Arabia as part of his peace and security initiative in the region.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the visitcomes after Khan's visit to Iran on October 13 and meeting with its leaders.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Khan willconsult with the Saudi leadership in the light of "his recent discussions withother leaders".
It is noteworthy that Imran Khan's visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesdayis his third to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a year.
Two days ago, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry denied media reportsthat the Saudi leadership had asked Pakistan to mediate with Iran.
Khan said from Tehran two days ago that Pakistan "does not want tosee a new conflict in the region".
