The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman binAbdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session held at Al-Yamamah Palace onTuesday.

At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two HolyMosques briefed the Cabinet on the contents of the telephone call received fromKing Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and theresults of his talks with President Halimah Yacob of the Republic of Singaporeto enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields. The King alsobriefed the Cabinet on the contents of the message received from Sheikh SabahAl-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.

The Cabinet renewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcomingof the signing of the Riyadh Agreement between the Yemeni Government and theTransitional Council, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two HolyMosques and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed binSalman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister ofDefense. It also welcomed the Kingdom's emphasis on continuing all efforts tosupport the Republic of Yemen to achieve its security and stability,appreciating the keenness of Yemeni parties to uphold the interest of Yemen andachieve the aspirations of its people.

The Cabinet reviewed the emphasis by HRH Crown Prince on theKingdom's keenness to support the Yemeni people since the beginning of thecrisis, in response to the request of its legitimate leadership, seek apolitical solution to the crisis according to the three references, and stopforeign interference in Yemen that seeks to impose a new reality by force ofarms, overthrow its legitimacy and threaten the security of the region and itswaterways vital to the world.

Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah said,following the session, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that theCabinet expressed its appreciation for international and Arab repercussions ofthe signing of Riyadh Agreement, which included praising and congratulating thesigning of the Riyadh Agreement, and appreciating efforts made to reach itamong the Yemeni parties, as a pivotal step in the way of ending the Yemenicrisis and strengthening its unity and prosperity.
