The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday.

"The Cabinetwas briefed on a number of reports on latest developments in the region and theworld," the Media minister Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah told Saudi PressAgency.

"The Cabinetstressed the statement issued by the Quartet meeting in London to discusslatest developments in the Republic of Yemen and ways to support the efforts ofthe United Nations envoy to Yemen," he added.

The Cabinet alsoreviewed the Kingdom's participation in the Second Forum of Belt and RoadInitiative for International Cooperation held in Beijing, the People's Republicof China, noting the integration of the Chinese "Belt and Road"initiative and the Kingdom's Vision 2030 pertaining to the development of bothcountries, building a sustainable future economy based on the knowledge societyand emerging technologies, and the Kingdom's contribution to raising the levelof regional prosperity by transforming it into a major logistics industrialplatform targeting West Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The Cabinet reiterated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's refusal of interfering in the internal affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and anything infringing on its sovereignty, security and stability, expressing the Kingdom's looking forward to strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq being prevailed by mutual respect and contributing to achieving regional security and stability.

"Cabinetcommended the results of the first edition of the Financial Sector Conferenceorganized, under the King's patronage, by partners of the Financial SectorDevelopment Program, "One of the Kingdom's Vision 2030" programsunder the slogan "Promising Financial Horizons". The Minister pointedout.
