King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Center for the Arabic Language (KAICA) will hold at Souq Okaz 13 a symposium entitled "Arabic in Central Asia" on Tuesday.
The eventaims at underlining the presence of Arabic in Central Asia and its influence oneducation, culture and science, Said Dr. Abdullah Salih ALWashmi, SecretaryGeneral of KAICA.
Thesymposium will focus on Arabic Teaching syllabus in Central Asia, the role ofpublishing houses and Arabic books, translation from and into Arabic inaddition to Arabic manuscripts and the role of Central Asian libraries inpreserving Arabic and Islamic Heritage, Dr. AlWashmi said.
KAICA lauds6 years of excellent partnership with Souq Okaz organizing bodies, and it held"Arabic and the World" event in previous years and broadened itsnetworking and cooperation with other participants in the Souq Okaz from Saudiand visiting foreign entities, Dr. AlWashmi added.
