Juffali makes history as first female Saudi racer

Reema Juffalimakes history as first female Saudi racer, where she will participate in the JaguarI-PACE eTrophy inaugural round in Ad Diriyah on November 22and 23 in the opening of the sixth season of the Formula E World Championship.

Juffali was awarded a VIP drive for the I-PACE eTrophy's inaugural round on November 23 and 24 in the support series to Formula E's 2019 Ad Diriyah ePrix.

Jaguar I-PACE eTrophy inaugural round in Ad Diriyah, in which Juffali will participate, is a series of international emission-free car races following the Formula-E Championship, the motorsport category that uses electric cars and includes 12 teams.

It's noteworthy that 27-year old Juffali previously participated in the F4 British Championship and now adds to her list of achievements joining Jaguar Racing as Jaguar I-PACE eTrophy VIP driver to be held in Ad Diriyah.

"I am thrilled to be the Jaguar I-PACE eTrophy VIP driver for the first race of season two. I can't wait to be out on track racing on home soil for the first time. The series has highlighted the innovation and progress of motorsport, giving more opportunity for men and women to compete together in cool electric racecars. It's going to be an amazing weekend and I can't wait to be out on the grid," Juffali said.

Jaguar I-PACE eTrophy second season in Ad Diriyah, in which Juffali will participate, is a series of internationalemission-free car races following the Formula-E Championship, the motorsportcategory where electric cars would be used and 12 Jaguar I-PACE eTrophycars battle around the Ad Diriyah Street Circuit, with teams from Germany,Mexico, China, UK, US, France, Italy and Saudi Arabia.

The 2019–20 Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY will be thesecond season of the battery electric zero-emission international motor racingseries supporting the FIA Formula E Championship, which is scheduled to startin November 2019 and end in July 2020.

It's noteworthy that the series will see entrants compete in a race-prepared Jaguar I-PACE, built by Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations team with technical support from M-Sport, with the races taking place on selected Formula E weekends.
