Japanese Foreign Ministry's Spokeswoman Mitsuko Shino has praised the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and her country.

TheCustodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRHCrown Prince welcomed Japan's Foreign Minister Taro Kono in the kingdom withattendance of the Saudi Arabia's minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

"Themeetings discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations, cooperation betweenthe two countries and the prospects of broadening the possibilities ofpartnership between the two countries in all fields, in addition to thediscussion of the Kingdom's stance on achieving stability in the Middle East," JapaneseForeign Ministry's Spokeswoman Mitsuko Shino said.

Mitsuko Shino also referred to Japanese Foreign Minister's reiteration in the meetings to deep ties that link the two countries and Saudi Arabia and Japan's keenness to strengthen continuous cooperation, saying the minister considers Japan's capabilities will give a strong push for further cooperation to achieve the Saudi vision 2030 and all its programs and initiatives.
