As Iran continues to find ways to evade US sanctions, Tehran's oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh confessed that his country follows "unofficial or unconventional sales, all of which are secret, because if they are made known America would immediately stop them" in an interview with the ministry's SHANA news agency on Saturday June 8th.

Zanganeh did notmention further details on Iran's oil exports, saying he would not revealfigures until sanctions were dropped, AFP reported.

Last November, Washington reenacted oil sanctions on Iran, but gave waivers to eight countries primarily, including several allies such as China for a duration of six months.

According to Zanganeh, the US has is tightening the noose on Iran's economy using "smartsanctions". "The most severe organised sanctions in history arecurrently being imposed on Iran," he added.
