Several countries and international organizations have condemned the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia on a petroleum distribution terminal in Jeddah.
Sudanese Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Tuesday, expressing their denunciation of this criminal act which proved the Houthi militia's violations undermining security and stability in the region.
Sudan expressed its confidence in the Kingdom's ability to protect its vital and economic facilities and firmly confront terrorist groups, affirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom in all its measures against anyone trying to undermine its security and stability.
Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawki Allam has condemned "a terror attack" that was committed on a fuel tank at a petroleum products distribution terminal in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Monday.
In a statement on Tuesday, Allam said "all terrorist groups and organisations will disappear and all their criminal operations will go to the dustbin of history."
Allam, who is the President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities worldwide, called for continuing "complete Arab coordination and cooperation in the face of terrorist assaults by terrorist groups that seek to wreak violence and havoc in the Arab region."
Pakistan also issued a statement, calling for immediate cessation of such attacks that violate the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and threaten the lives of innocent civilians.
Pakistan reaffirmed its full support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threats to its security and territorial integrity.
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit considered this attack as an act of terrorism which is condemned and rejected by all.
Jordan strongly condemned the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia's targeting of the petroleum products distribution terminal in the north of Jeddah.
Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez expressed his country's rejection of this cowardly terrorist attack and the Houthi militia's continued targeting of civilian areas, which is a flagrant violation of international laws and norms.
"Jordan stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that the security of the two countries are indivisible and that any threat to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security and stability of the entire region," Ambassador Al-Fayez affirmed.
Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the persistence of such criminal and sinful acts against civilian lives and infrastructure as well as global energy supplies aims to destabilize the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the entire region.
The Ministry affirmed that the State of Kuwait fully stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and fully supports all measures it might take to protect its security and stability.
Speaker of Arab Parliament Adel Abdurrahman Al-Assoumi said that targeting of the petroleum products distribution terminal is a cowardly terrorist act. He added that it is part of a plan to target vital and economic facilities and affect energy supplies and oil prices in the global market.
Al-Assoumi called on the international community to take urgent action to confront these terrorist acts.
