Sudan has affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its right to defend the security of its territories and citizens.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sudan has reiterated its condemnation of the attacks launched against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Houthi militia in Yemen on July 13.
The statement added that it was clear that the aim of the Houthi militia's targeting of civilians inside Yemen and the neighboring countries of Yemen is to hinder the efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia and the UN's Special envoy to Yemen to move the political process forward and reach a comprehensive political solution. Sudan demanded an immediate cessation of these hostile actions, calling on all parties to return to political negotiations to reach a comprehensive political solution.
