Hajj Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for the Service of Pilgrims and Umrah Performers Hisham bin Abdel Moneim Saeed said the ministry is embarked on sorting out qualified individuals for this Hajj season and sending out text messages to candidates who have met all the requirements.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he explained that 558,000 domestic applicants have applied electronically in the first phase, of which 51% are males and 49% females, adding that the Hajj and Umrah data centre has processed the applications within ten working days.
