King Abdulaziz and Umm Al-Qura universitis have signed twocooperation agreements with German Merck Group in the field of trainingand qualifying Saudi pharmacists along with providing an opportunity foracademic staff in both universities to conduct joint research projects.
The agreements were signed by Dean of College of PharmacyDr. Hani Zakaria Asfour on behalf of Jeddah-based King AbdulazizUniversity and Dean of College of Pharmacy Dr. Faisal bin Atiq Al-Malikifor Makkah-based Umm Al-Qura University, while "German Merck" wasrepresented by the director of the company's branch in the Kingdom Dr. HaithamHabashi.
