The Board of Directors of the General Authority of CivilAviation (GACA) held yesterday in Riyadh, this year's meeting chaired by theTransport Minister and Chairman of GACA's Board of Directors, Eng. Saleh AlJasser, and in the presence of Board members.
The Board reviewed the transformation program that GACA isworking on and the initiatives and achievements accomplished. The Board alsodiscussed several topics on its current agenda and issued a number of decisionsin their regards.
At the end of its meeting, the Board noted the importance ofintensifying efforts and doing more to improve the overall performance of thesector and increase all efforts taken to strengthen the role of civil aviationin order to raise the level of this vital sector and increase its competitivevalue, to achieve the aspirations of leadership in investing in this sector anddevelop it to serve the traveling public, in line with the fundamental goals ofthe Kingdom's Vision 2030.
