GCCIA Participates in 2nd Edition of “MENA Energy Meet” Conference

GCC Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) participated in the 2nd Edition of the Middle East and North Africa Energy Producers Conference (MENA Energy Meet), virtually launched today under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals in the Sultanate of Oman.

Ahmed Al-Ibrahim, CEO of GCCIA, said that the two-day event, which brought together stakeholders in the global and regional energy field, decision and policymakers, government officials, CEOs and experts to participate in the dialogue, is set to discuss current challenges and business opportunities, develop strategies in the energy sector, exchange knowledge and experiences and identify innovative solutions aimed at shaping the future of the energy sector, as well as all aspects of the energy industry, renewable energy sources and utilities.

Al-Ibrahim added that the conference includes several panel discussions, extended sessions, and presentations, during which the participants will discuss important issues and challenges facing the energy sector and renewable energy sources.
