Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and a delegation of the British Government held their eighth meeting of the Joint Cooperation Committee between the two sides on Tuesday.
The two sides stressed during the meeting on strengthening the strategic partnership between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United Kingdom.
"The meetingdiscussed joint activities to implement the approved plans of action andprepare for the meetings and workshops to be organized by the two sides during2019, which includes the implementation of military cooperation between the twosides and implementation of joint strategic plan," GCC Assistant Secretary General forPolitical Affairs and Negotiations Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Owaisheq said.
"Thesemeetings between the two sides confirm their keenness to strengthen thestrategic partnership established by the GCC and UK leaders at the first GCC-UKSummit in December 2016." He added.
