Many of Araband GCC leaders have welcomed the invitation of the Custodian of the Two HolyMosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to hold two extraordinary summits, inMakkah, on Thursday May 30, 2019, to discuss these aggressions and theirconsequences, on the region.

UAE praisesKing Salaman's call

The UnitedArab Emirates' Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in astatement, has said that this initiative is not strange to the Saudileadership, which has long been keen to establish security and peace in theregion

The Ministry alsopraised the leadership role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques KingSalman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in unifying Arab ranks and coordinating Arabstances.

The Ministryadded that the current critical circumstances entail a unified Arab and Gulfstance toward the besetting challenges and risks, and the call of King Salmanbin Abdulaziz Al Saud is a significant opportunity for the countries of theregion to achieve their aspirations for establishing peace and stability andensuring our joint security, sovereignty and achievements.

Bahrainwelcomes the invitation

The Kingdomof Bahrain welcomed the call by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for holdingtwo GCC and Arab emergency summits.

"Thiscall from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, affirming its full support forall the steps being taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and appreciates itssteadfast solidarity and its strenuous efforts to preserve the security andstability of the region and promote Arab interests," read a statement bythe Bahraini Foreign Ministry.

The Kingdomof Bahrain pointed out that the wise call that went out from the Custodian ofthe two Holy Mosques affirms the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia incementing the joint Arab action.

The Kingdomalso values the Saudi keenness on enhancing collective action to overcome thedelicate conditions that the GCC region is going through, through consultationand co-ordination between the GCC and Arab countries, to achieve a unifiedcollective position as the guarantor for security and stability of the countriesand peoples of the region and a factor of continued development and progressthat would also contribute to the maintenance of international peace andsecurity.

Djiboutiwelcomes the call

TheAmbassador of Djibouti and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Kingdom of SaudiArabia, Dya Eddine Bamakhrama has said that the Republic of Djibouti welcomedthe invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman binAbdulaziz Al Saud to hold the Arab Emergency Summit in Makkah."The King's call comes to study regionaldevelopments in a unified Arab framework to discuss these attacks and theirrepercussions on the region." The Ambassador said.
